Statewide CTC Highlights
Multiple of the new CTC Communities, as part of the DPHHS CTC Expansion, have been very busy this summer! In Phase 1, CTC coordinators spent significant time meeting with leaders in their community, discussing the leaders’ perspectives on youth behavior in their community as well as getting buy-in from these leaders to support moving CTC forward. Phase 1 culminates in the Key Leader Orientation (KLO), a 4-hour workshop that is co-facilitated by the CTC Coordinator and a CTC Coach, to come away with a diverse and oriented Key Leader Board. There were FIVE highly successful KLOs this summer across Montana! The CTC Coordinators in each community did a fantastic job convening Key Leaders, organizing these events in their respective communities, and leading engaging conversations with their leaders. A big shout out to the following, in order of delivery this summer: Alli Kieckbusch, CTC Coordinator for Yellowstone County; Sarah Graham, CTC Coordinator for Lewis and Clark County; Katie Gruss, CTC Coordinator for Deer Lodge County; Billi Taylor, CTC Coordinator for Park County; and Katie Gruss, who filled in to deliver the KLO in Granite County! You fabulous coordinators brought hard to reach sectors together to deliver high-quality training to keep this important work moving forward. Go team Montana!
