  1. The 19th Annual Ice Classic Fishing Tournament was held at Nelson Reservoir for 200 anglers of all ages. Prevention provided Fishing Gadgets to all participants. The winning catches for adults were a 1 lb 8 oz Perch, 7 lb 5 oz Walleye and 22 lb 2 oz Northern Pike. And for kids a 10 oz Perch, 2 lbs 15 oz Walleye and 5 lbs 9 oz Northern Pike. It was a fun and successful day out on the ice!

 

2) Prevention continues to promote a fun Mocktail recipe on Facebook and in the newsletter each month. Encouraging a sober lifestyle and its benefits. The Valentine Mocktail is the perfect combination of sweetness and bubbles for your sweetheart!

 

3) The 3rd Annual Slash the Stigma Devon Thompson Memorial Hockey Tournament took place in Glasgow, February 7-9, 2025 where the Valley C.A.R.E. Coalition along with PS Lamb will provide information on Suicide Prevention and Mental Health resources.

4) Gina Lamb is collaborating with the Malta High School, Phillips
County Local Advisory Council on Behavioral Health, Phillips County Coalition for Healthy Choices, Northeastern Arts Network, River’s Bend Assisted Living and local coffee shops to host the University of Montana Co-Lab for Civic Imagination State of Mind program, April 3rd and 4th.

5) Prevention continues to encourage a sober lifestyle and its benefits. One of this month’s alcohol free beverage recipes is an Irish Cream Mocktail with a fun mix of espresso, chocolate and the Luck ‘o the Irish!
