Find Your Spot Update

The most exciting event in the Find Your Spot arena over the last month was the City-wide Dodgeball Tournament, hosted in partnership with Narrate Church. We had 56 teams of adults and students and 700 people packed into the Capital High School gym to dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge. The event was a huge success and an overall good time. Chances are good that it will happen again next year, so start assembling your team and practicing your dodging skills.

Lewis and Clark Library is hosting some pretty cool Find Your Spot events in the coming weeks as well. They’ll kick off Crafternoons, monthly afternoon crafting events, on Saturday, March 23^rd, show Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure at First Friday Movie Night on April 5^th, and hold the Poetry on Fire poetry slam on Thursday, April 11^th. Then, right on cue, the YMCA will host their Second Saturday event on April 13^th. There’s a lot going on, so keep your eyes peeled for the FYS paint splatter and don’t miss a thing.
