Adult Volunteer of the Month – Dana Toole
Dana Toole is an advocate for some of Montana’s most vulnerable population, children. Through her work with the Montana Department of Justice, Dana works to oversee many programs that give voice to children who have been victims of crimes. Her caring and compassionate manner coupled with her strong leadership qualities has lead Children’s Advocacy Centers across Montana to be a successful model for children’s voices to be heard. In addition, Dana has given countless hours to the Helena community through her service on the school board and other youth driven organizations.
In the past month, Dana has donated many hours to Youth Connections using those same skills to help facilitate a community discussion on bullying. Dana’s ability to create an environment where community members felt safe to speak on this sensitive topic while providing valuable information and resources to attendees illustrated how Dana’s compassion and commitment to kids carries beyond her daily work into her volunteer service in Helena. Thanks Dana for all you do for kids and families!
