Health & Safety Fair

On January 22 a Health and Safety Fair was held at Jefferson High for all students. Some of the booths students visited were: CPR, energy drinks and nutrition, inflatable brain and VR tour of the brain, Natural High, FCCLA booths on heart health, resilience and buckle-up, cell phone and internet safety, importance of sleep, mental health and neurotransmitters, etc.

The junior members of the JC DUI Task Force helped to set up and present information to their peers concerning healthy choices and care of their brains.  They were very instrumental with the success of the event.  See photos and summary of some of the student comments.

The plan is to provide Whitehall middle and HS students a similar experience before the end of the school year.
