Moving Mountains Award Ceremony
By highlighting the efforts of Butte Cares in Silver Bow County, the Moving Mountains Award ceremony was held on June 15th at the courthouse. There were sixteen awards acknowledging multiple community members (and their sectors) for their ability to exemplify what it means to work together in order to create a safe, healthy, and drug free community. This ceremony included over 25 youth who received recognition as well. Letters of support were sent in from Governor Gianforte, Senators Jon Tester, and Steve Daines. The turnout was overwhelmingly positive, along with local news coverage.
