Malta Partnerships
Phillips County PS, Gina Lamb worked with Malta Chamber on a couple of projects for the holiday season. Prevention messaging from NHTSA’s “buzzed driving is drunk driving” campaign to have “someone sober to guide your sleigh home” and tips to plan ahead for a safe celebration were printed on cardstock and placed in 75 “Jolly to Holly” bags. These bags also contained swag and coupons from local merchants for the holiday season and were available for purchase at the local banks and a family clothing store. Another holiday tradition for the Chamber is their Christmas coloring book provided, free of charge, to youth in Phillips County ages 3 to 12. EMCMHC sponsored a coloring page this year!
PC PS also teamed up with the Malta Kids Club for their 7th Annual Santa’s Workshop for youth ages 5 to 5th grade, which is ALWAYS a fun time! Parents are encouraged to drop their child(ren) off while they do late night shopping during the Chamber’s “Date Night”. When they returned to Club, their child was loaded up with sugar cookies (they decorated with the help of Malta Kiwanis), ornaments (they crafted with the help of Malta Garden Club) laughter from playing Reindeer Games (with Malta High School reACT Crew) and a ParentingMontana.org tote filled with Christmas activity pages, some bandages (for over Christmas vacation…), and ParentingMontana.org and Montana QuitLine information.
