Playground Invite

The city of Helena Parks and Recreation Department along with community volunteers and project planners are hosting a celebration on June 10, 2014 to dedicate a new playground at Centennial Park. The celebration will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a community-build work activity to spread wood chips on the play surface. A formal dedication will begin at 7:00 p.m. followed by a cake and ice cream reception and plenty of time to play!
In addition to city resources, the playground was made possible by the generous contributions of community donations, fund-raising efforts by the Helena’s Playable Playground committee and national grants from the Dr. Pepper Snapple Group-KaBOOM! and the Lowe’s Charitable & Educational Foundation.
